General/ New Surface
- Surface must be sound, clean, dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease and wax. (To have a better finish, rub down surface using suitable abrasive and dust off before painting Smart Wall Sealer 400S.
- Allow all surfaces to dry completely prior to painting. Avoid painting when the moisture content and alkalinity of the walls are still high. (Recommended painting specification requires the moisture content of the walls to be below 16% measured by protimeter and alkalinity of the walls to be below pH9.)
Smart Wall Sealer 400S is a water-based styrene acrylic interior wall sealer. This product is specially formulated to provide good opacity, alkali, efflorescence resistance and good adhesion property. Smart Wall Sealer 400S is painted as a primer to protect the subsequent coats against the effect of mild alkalinity and moisture from the substrate.
